Club Development

November 2009 marked a momentous event in the history of Wolfe Tone G.A.C. and its provision of Gaelic Games,

culture and activities for the people of Derrymacash and its surrounding areas. After many months, of arduous work

by members, numerous Committee's and in particular the Grants Committee, work commenced on the first phase of

the overall Club Development Program, as the redevelopment of the playing surfaces at Pairc Na Ropairi started

This section of the site is dedicated to illustrating how much work has already taken place at the Club and also gives

an idea of the long-term objectives the Club has, in terms of provision of facilities for the local population. These

objectives when achieved will not only improve what Wolfe Tone G.A.C. currently offers, but will also enable the Club

to provide a much broader section of the community with facilities which are varied and are in demand today in a

rural area such as Derrymacash.
